Management Profile

Selekanye Seribe is the owner and manager of Peo Ya Afrika Agri-Digital Institute. She has been in the entrepreneurship space since she was a teenager in different capacities. She is a young dynamic quantitative social scientist who is passionate about social entrepreneurship in Agriculture and Capacity building where she strives to find a multitier approach in addressing school dropout, ill health and climate change. She went on to  establish an African Herbal Research Institution which will use the Indigenous forms of inquiry and create sustainable health facility and fight poverty as well as contributing towards the generation of new knowledge through teaching, research and educational advocacy. She has recently completed her Master's Degree in Demography and Population Studies at Wits University with a thesis titled "Household structures and secondary school dropout in South Africa". I have an outstanding track record of community activism and interested in a multifaceted approach in community challenges. My vision is ambitious, which is nothing less than to reshaping the entire way the society thinks about economic development and growth.
Qualifications:

1. University of the Witwatersrand- MA in Demography and Population Studies expected to graduate Dec 2019.
Research topic: Household structures and secondary school dropout in South Africa.
2. North-West University- Short Learning Programme on Population, Health & Planning for Development in 2016.

Year: Jun 2013- Honours Degree in Demography and Population Studies: Research topic: The Influence of place of residence on levels of fertility in Africa.
4. University of the Witwatersrand- Degree in Bachelor of Arts (Media Studies & Anthropology) in 2012.
